Played again yesterday at Micheals leaving do. The crowd were tough but we were tougher. Joined by Phil from Fly with Vampires on Keyboards and Guru. He dressed like a rhinestone cowboy - which was nice. Martin was late (back from hols), as was John (back from Mars), so that added tension to our soundcheck, as Phil learnt the set without any rehearsal. Luckily he knows when to lay off, and only played the bits he knew - on the tambourine. We did some new funny raps for Michael which included Wham Rap, Rappers Delight and some stuff we made up.
Had to wait round LIme Street to get the 2338 train because there is one to great sonkey after 2155. Had some chips and salt & pepper wings from the Lobster Pot. They were alright, but I'm hankering after sweet and sour, probably because Uncle Bens have got an advertising campaign on at the moment.
(Nobody reads this except Mrs D you know)
